Benefits of Youth Advisory Council Membership

Many programs to improve the health and wellness of youth are created by organizations without the input of the very individuals these programs are designed to help. The Youth Council provides area youth with the opportunity to learn about (and help create) health programs that affect not only themselves but their peers as well.
The Youth Council fosters an understanding of philanthropic funding while teaching valuable lessons about successful grantmaking and stewardship of charitable resources.

Additionally, participation in the Youth Council can be counted toward fulfilling community service credit hour requirements for graduation. For more information, contact the Columbus Medical Association Foundation at 614.240.7410.
