The Columbus Medical Association Foundation is proud to present the Marc L. Parnes, MD Service Award in honor of the dedication and service of Dr. Parnes to the Columbus Medical Association and its organizations.

Nominations are open for the Columbus Medical Association Foundation’s 2026 Marc L. Parnes, MD Service Award.

Marc L. Parnes, MD, served faithfully for more than a decade and a half in the role of president and member of the CMA Foundation board. In honor of his legacy, the service award is presented during the Columbus Medical Association’s annual celebration each fall to a volunteer whose dedication and service consistently demonstrates the values for the mission and vision of the Columbus Medical Association (CMA), its Foundation, and affiliate organizations (CMAA).

Nominations will be accepted July 13, 2026 through September 8, 2026 for a volunteer whose contributions have improved the functioning of the CMAA organizations, the health and well-being of central Ohio physicians, and/or the health and well-being of the central Ohio community.

The award will be presented at the CMA’s Annual Celebration on Thursday, October 22, 2026.

2025 MLP Service Award Honoree: Robert Lowe, MD

Dr. Lowe is an emergency physician, medical director of the Columbus Division of Fire, CMA member and Board of Trustee member for COTS, an affiliate of the Columbus Medical Association. Thank you, Dr. Lowe, for your leadership and commitment to our organization and community.
