“You know how they say it takes a village to raise a kid? Well, in these times, it takes a village to help and assist a family.”

Physicians CareConnection
A CMA Foundation priority

Physician-led philanthropy is driving meaningful, measurable change in our community. The CMA Foundation focuses on the following priorities that improve the lives of patients, physicians, and families across central Ohio.

Supporting Physician Health & Well-Being

We offset the cost of the Physician Leadership Academy and have helped 204 physicians advance their leadership and well-being since the transformational program began in 2012.

We support connection, renewal, and career satisfaction by funding regular gatherings for our Women in Medicine community.

We fund free access to a network of physician peers trained to support their colleagues in need through our Doc to Doc program.

Our funding has supported 140 Black students to explore medical careers through Made for Medicine.

Nurturing Our Future Leaders

Our Youth Advisory Council has awarded $361,000 in grants to local non-profits to help those in our community in need since 2001.

Caring for Our Community

We supported the training of more than 2,000 healthcare providers, first responders, and public health professionals through COTS in 2024.

2,631 vulnerable adults received medical, dental, mental health, and pregnancy services in 2024 thanks to our support of the PCC Center for Optimal Health.

We enabled expanded mental health services by providing a $500,000 grant to the ADAMH Franklin County Crisis Center.
